Villa Neroli – Place of Charme

When I mentioned I was interested in Renaissance art beyond the Uffizi, they pointed me toward the Bardini Museum, which was completely empty and absolutely stunning. The tram stop is right there if you want to zip into the center, but honestly, I found myself loving the quieter rhythm of this part of Florence. Sure, it’s not within stumbling distance of the Ponte Vecchio, but that 9.2 rating makes sense when you realize you’re getting genuine Florentine hospitality in a neighborhood where you can actually hear birds chirping instead of tour groups. Plus, parking is actually manageable here – something you’ll appreciate if you’re driving in Tuscany.
