Strozzi Luxury Apartment
Florence, ItalyFirst Impressions
Walking into Strozzi Luxury Apartment feels like stepping into someone’s beautifully curated Florentine home rather than a typical hotel. The building sits right on Piazza Strozzi — and I mean right on it — so you’re literally in the thick of Renaissance Florence from the moment you arrive. There’s something almost surreal about having your morning coffee while looking out at the same square where Medici bankers once conducted business. The apartment itself has that effortless Italian elegance that you can’t really fake, with original architectural details that remind you this isn’t just any city break.
Location & Neighborhood
Honestly, you couldn’t ask for a better spot in Florence. The Duomo is about a three-minute walk away, and the Uffizi is maybe five minutes if you stroll slowly. What I love about this location is that you’re in Santa Maria Novella, which means you get the historic center energy without feeling completely overrun by tour groups — well, at least not all the time. The Palazzo Strozzi is literally your neighbor, and there’s something quite special about having world-class Renaissance art exhibitions happening basically next door. You’ll find yourself popping out for gelato or an aperitivo and stumbling onto streets that look like movie sets.
The Space
The apartment itself strikes that perfect balance between historic charm and modern comfort. You know how some places in old buildings can feel a bit cramped or dark? This doesn’t have that problem at all. The rooms are spacious enough that you don’t feel like you’re living out of a suitcase, and there’s actual natural light streaming in from those big windows facing the piazza. I particularly appreciated having a proper kitchen — not that you’ll want to cook much with all the incredible restaurants nearby, but it’s nice to grab fresh fruit from the market and have somewhere to store it properly.
The Florence Experience
What really sets this place apart is how it lets you live like a temporary Florentine rather than just another tourist passing through. You’ll start recognizing the shopkeepers, figuring out which café makes the best cappuccino, and developing your own little routines around the neighborhood. The couples who stay here seem to particularly love this aspect — there’s something romantic about having your own little corner of Florence, even if it’s just for a few days. You can walk to pretty much everything worth seeing, but you can also retreat to your own space when the city gets a bit overwhelming.
Why Guests Love It
People consistently rave about this place, and after staying here, I get it. It’s that rare combination of an unbeatable location with the comfort and privacy of having your own space. You’re not dealing with hotel lobbies or breakfast schedules, but you’re also not sacrificing quality or service. The fact that couples rate it so highly tells you something — this is the kind of place that makes a trip feel special rather than just functional. When you can walk out your door and be in the heart of Renaissance Florence within seconds, well, that’s pretty hard to beat.
Best hotels in Tuscany blend infinity pools over vineyards, truffle tasting menus, and handmade linen suites.

Guest Reviews
What could be improved: Nothing it was perfect for our needs
What could be improved: Nothing, it was great.
What could be improved: An outlet in bathroom didn’t work. The kitchen sink appeared to have some back up. Neither were issues for us during our stay. The place is beautiful!
What could be improved: The noise all night from the bar on the street! Bring earplugs!
What could be improved: The washing machine. It did not wash clothes properly and it would be great to have a more modern washing machine in the apartment which is otherwise so beautifully appointed.
What could be improved: The noise from the street in the principal bedroom
