First Impressions

Walking up Via de’ Cerretani, you’ll spot Seta spacious apartment next to the Duomo tucked into one of those classic Florentine buildings that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a Renaissance painting. I mean, when they say “next to the Duomo,” they’re not kidding around — you’re literally a two-minute stroll from that iconic cathedral dome that dominates every Florence postcard. The building itself has that weathered stone facade you see all over the historic center, but inside, this four-star apartment feels surprisingly modern and airy.

The Space

What struck me most about this place was how they managed to create such a spacious feel in the heart of the old city. The main living area flows naturally, and you know what? The ceilings are actually high enough that you don’t feel cramped like in some of those converted medieval spaces. The kitchen is properly equipped — not just some tiny corner setup — which honestly makes a huge difference when you want to grab fresh ingredients from Mercato Centrale and cook something simple. The whole place gets great natural light, which can be tricky to find in these narrow Florence streets.

That Unbeatable Location

Here’s the thing about staying right on Via de’ Cerretani — you’re positioned perfectly between the train station and all the major sights, but you’re not dealing with the chaos of being directly on a main tourist drag. I could walk to the Uffizi in about eight minutes, hit up the leather market at San Lorenzo in five, and still duck back for an afternoon break without it feeling like a major expedition. The location score of 10.0 makes total sense when you realize you can see the Duomo from some windows and hear the evening bells.

The Neighborhood Feel

What I really appreciated was how this spot lets you experience Florence like you actually live here, not just passing through. There’s a little alimentari around the corner where locals grab their morning coffee, and you’ll find yourself naturally falling into that Italian rhythm of evening strolls and aperitivo. The Duomo area gets busy during the day — that’s just reality — but early mornings and evenings have this magical quality when the light hits those ancient stones just right. You’re close enough to everything that matters, but the actual street feels more residential than touristy.

Why Guests Love It

The 9.2 rating really shows, especially for couples who want that romantic Florence experience without sacrificing comfort or space. You get the authentic feel of staying in a real Florentine apartment rather than some generic hotel room, plus you’re positioned so well that you can easily explore different neighborhoods on foot. I think what sets this place apart is that balance — you’re living in the historic heart of the city, but you’ve got modern amenities and enough space to actually relax and recharge between all that sightseeing and gelato hunting.

Tuscany’s apartments welcome families with poolside pergolas, cooking classes, and day trips to Pisa’s leaning icon.

The space was amazing. Incredible location. Beautiful views. And despite it being right on a super busy tourist street it was unexpectedly quiet inside. The beds were so comfortable too.

Location, location, location. Right at the heart of Florence. You can't beat the location. The three bedroom apartment had two baths that was nice when staying with teenagers. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. Had extra space to store luggage so it was not in the way.

Lovely 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in amazing location right in the heart of Florence! You are right by the Duomo and so many shops and restaurants, but you don’t hear the noise in the apartment. Kitchen equipped with full size fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, kettle, coffee maker etc. and the building had a free washer and dryer on the main floor which was really convenient. Loved the heated towel racks in the bathrooms too!
