The hotel itself has that solid four-star vibe without trying too hard – you know, the kind of place that’s comfortable enough that you actually want to hang out in your room for a bit, but not so fancy that you feel guilty about tossing your backpack on the bed. The neighborhood has this lived-in quality where you’ll see the same faces at the corner café, but it’s not sleepy – there’s energy here, especially in the evenings when locals start their passeggiata. Honestly, with an 8.6 rating, you’re getting a place that delivers on the fundamentals while dropping you into the actual rhythm of the city, not some sanitized tourist version of it.
