The breakfast spread is actually impressive – fresh pastries, local cheeses, proper coffee, not just the sad continental buffet you get at chain hotels. The hosts know their stuff too; they gave me insider tips about which museums to hit early, where to find the best gelato (not the touristy spots), and even helped me figure out the bus system to get to some of the hillside towns. Check-in was smooth, though fair warning – it’s an older building, so no elevator, but honestly the climb to the third floor isn’t bad unless you’re hauling massive suitcases. With an 8.7 rating from actual guests, it’s clearly doing something right, and I can see why people keep coming back to this little gem.
