Agriturismo Villa Adimari
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Agriturismo Villa Adimari, honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this four-star countryside retreat. The villa sits quietly on Via del Lungo in Cerreto Guidi, and there’s something immediately calming about the way it blends into the Tuscan landscape. You know what struck me most? The complete absence of tourist crowds — this place feels like a genuine discovery rather than another checkbox destination. The grounds themselves are meticulously maintained, with native plantings that enhance rather than overwhelm the natural beauty of the region.
The Setting
The location is actually brilliant if you want to experience authentic Tuscany without the Florence chaos. Cerreto Guidi isn’t on most tourists’ radar, which means you get rolling hills, olive groves, and that postcard-perfect Italian countryside all to yourself. I mean, couples clearly get it — they’re rating the location 9.4 out of 10, and after spending time here, I totally understand why. The villa feels secluded but you’re not stranded — Florence is close enough for day trips, but far enough that you can actually hear yourself think. The surrounding landscape offers endless opportunities for walks and exploration.
Accommodation & Comfort
My room had this wonderful mix of rustic charm and modern comfort that agritourismo properties sometimes struggle to balance. The furnishings felt authentically Italian without being overly themed, if that makes sense. What really impressed me was the attention to detail — fresh linens, thoughtful lighting, and windows that actually frame the countryside views rather than just happening to face them. The whole place has this lived-in elegance that makes you feel like you’re staying at a well-appointed family estate. Each space reflects genuine care in its design and maintenance.
Dining Experience
The breakfast situation here is honestly exceptional. They’ve got this buffet setup that covers every dietary need you can think of — continental classics, proper Italian options, plus vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free choices that don’t feel like afterthoughts. I watched them prepare fresh items throughout the morning, and the local ingredients really shine through. The restaurant area overlooks the grounds, so you’re starting your day with those Tuscan views that never get old, even after several mornings. The quality of ingredients and preparation elevates the entire experience.
Why Guests Love It
There’s free parking right on site, which might sound mundane but trust me — when you’re exploring Tuscany by car, having a guaranteed spot at your hotel is worth its weight in Chianti. The 9.7 overall rating isn’t just numbers on a screen; this place genuinely delivers on the agritourismo promise of authentic Italian hospitality. Recent guests keep praising the location with a 9.5 rating, and after experiencing those sunset views from the property, I get why people become repeat visitors. It’s the kind of place where you actually slow down and remember why you wanted to visit Italy in the first place. The combination of comfort, authenticity, and natural beauty creates an unforgettable stay.

Guest Reviews
Sylvia is a great host.
The property sits beautifully overlooking the Tuscan hills and the local town Cerreto Guido.
Make sure you go to Pizzeria Chest' E' and Adriano 731943 for the Florentine steak.
It's a great location to explore Tuscany if you do not want to stay in a city.
We stayed in La Stalla, which is a one bedroom ground floor apartment. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. It also comes with a covered patio for your own use.
You have breakfast overlooking the Tuscan hills and consists of your choice of salami, cheese, bread, eggs, cakes, yogurts, fruits, biscuits, juice and coffee.
The grounds are beautifully kept and you can use the bio pool with a swimming cap.
If you go to Florence, you can park and ride in Scandicci for free and take the tram from Villa Costanza for €1.70 each way. It only takes 20 minutes to get to Stazione Santa Maria Novella.
Overall, it's a stunning property in a great location, which I hope to return to soon.
We got welcomed by Silvia, who not only gave us the most amazing tips for our stay and was the nicest host we could wish for. She helped us with everything, including when we had problems with our car- she called a technician who came to the house and even stayed to help translate, as my Italian isn't very good.
The Apartement itself was beautiful with the most amazing view from the terrasse.
We couldn't have wished for more and are already looking to come back!
