The pool area is where you’ll probably spend your afternoons – it’s positioned so you can see all the way to Lake Trasimeno on clear days, and there’s this perfect spot under the pergola where the Wi-Fi actually works if you need to pretend you’re being productive. Parking is never an issue (thank god, because navigating those narrow Cortona streets with a rental car is its own adventure), and they’re pretty flexible about late check-ins, which saved me when my flight from Rome got delayed.
