What really got me was how they’ve managed to blend the whole wellness concept into everything without making it feel like you’re staying in a medical facility. The spa areas flow naturally into the common spaces, and there’s this lovely scent of eucalyptus and something citrusy that drifts through the lobby – subtle, not overwhelming like those hotels that assault you with synthetic lavender. The rooms have this warm, lived-in elegance that actually makes you want to spend time there instead of just crashing after a day of sightseeing.
