Location-wise, you’re about a ten-minute drive to the main Forte dei Marmi action – the beach clubs, the crazy expensive boutiques on Via Carducci, all that scene. But here’s the thing: being slightly removed means you can enjoy the area without the constant buzz of Vespas and the crowds that pile in from Florence on weekends. There’s a decent little restaurant called Da Giulio about five minutes away that locals actually eat at, which tells you something. For groceries, the Conad is close enough for morning pastry runs.

I’d probably dock a few points for the WiFi being a bit spotty in some rooms (though it worked fine by the pool), and the breakfast setup is more continental than elaborate.
