There’s a great little market just a few streets over where locals do their shopping, and the walk into the historic center takes maybe 20 minutes if you’re not in a hurry – which, let’s be honest, you shouldn’t be in Florence anyway. The area gets quiet at night, which is a blessing after you’ve spent the day navigating crowds at the Uffizi.
