The hotel sits in Capannori, which is one of those perfectly positioned spots that locals know about but tourists often miss. You’re about 15 minutes from Lucca’s historic center, but far enough out that you get this peaceful, countryside vibe without the crowds. I mean, the location rating of 8.0 from recent guests tells the whole story — couples especially seem to love it here, and I can see why. There’s something romantic about being tucked away in the Tuscan hills while still having easy access to everything you want to explore.

The Room Experience

My room was larger than I expected, with that classic Italian attention to detail that you don’t always find in chain hotels. The furnishings felt thoughtful rather than cookie-cutter, and honestly, the bed was incredibly comfortable after long days of walking around medieval towns. Staff members genuinely seem to enjoy helping guests figure out the best routes to nearby towns or recommending that little osteria down the road that only locals know about.

  The food was absolutely fantastic. The biggest fillet steak I've ever had. Also the 4 course set meal was excellent value for money. There was a big selection for breakfast also. All the staff were really helpful & friendly. Great customer service with a smile. Bus stop right outside to get to Lucca. Also the large pool was lovely.
