I’ll be straight with you – this isn’t the place if you want to walk everywhere or need constant entertainment. You’re definitely going to want a car, and the nearest actual town with shops and cafes requires a bit of a drive. But if you’re looking for that proper Tuscan countryside experience without the tourist crowds, where you can actually decompress and maybe read a book without someone trying to sell you leather goods, this hits differently. The whole area feels like it’s moving at this slower, more deliberate pace, and the house just fits right into that rhythm. Plus, for a five-star rating, the price point actually makes sense – you’re getting genuine luxury and space without the resort markup. I ended up extending my stay by two days because, honestly, I wasn’t ready to leave that terrace.
