Guadalupe Tuscany Resort
Grosseto, ItalyYou know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Guadalupe Tuscany Resort on Strada Del Bozzone – honestly, the address sounds more industrial than romantic. But man, was I wrong. This place sits in this gorgeous stretch between Grosseto and the coast, and once you’re past the entrance, it’s like stepping into one of those Tuscan postcards your aunt sends from her wine tours.
The thing about this resort is that it actually gets the balance right between feeling upscale and not being pretentious about it. The rooms have that warm, honey-colored stone you see everywhere in this part of Tuscany, and the staff – well, they’re not hovering over you, but they remember your name and whether you prefer your cappuccino extra hot (which I do). I mean, it’s a 4-star place, so you’re getting solid amenities without the stuffiness of those grand hotels in Florence where you feel like you can’t sit on the furniture. The pool area becomes this lovely gathering spot in the evenings, especially during late spring when the weather’s perfect and you can hear the countryside settling down for the night.
What I really love about staying here is how it puts you right in the heart of Maremma without making you feel isolated. Braccagni itself is small – blink and you’ll miss it – but you’re about twenty minutes from Grosseto if you need a proper city fix, and the coast is close enough for day trips to places like Castiglione della Pescaia. The resort actually organizes these wine tours to local vineyards, and they’re not the touristy cattle-call kind either. Plus, if you’re driving (which you should be in this part of Italy), parking is easy and free – no wrestling with narrow medieval streets here. The breakfast spread is honestly impressive, with local cheeses and that incredible bread from the bakery in town, and they’ll pack you a lunch if you’re heading out exploring. I stayed here twice now, once in shoulder season and once in summer, and while July gets busy with Italian families, it never feels chaotic. The grounds are spacious enough that you can always find a quiet corner, and the evening light hitting those cypress trees – well, it’s exactly what you came to Tuscany to see.

Guest Reviews
Surrounded by olive trees, vineyards, and a peaceful farm, the whole place radiates calm and beauty 🍇🌿. The atmosphere is perfect for disconnecting and recharging. The swimming pool was stunning, the grounds were immaculate, and everything felt serene and special.
Our room was lovely, breakfast was amazing 🥐☕, and the staff were welcoming and kind. There’s also easy parking with an electric car charger 🔌🚗 — a great plus.
Even with just one night, it was unforgettable. We hope to come back one day and stay much longer! ✨
What could be improved: That I had to pay extra for bread with my expensive (but tasty) cheese platter
What could be improved: It was raining a lot when we came and everything was muddy, the parking was far away.
Receptionist staff was great, letting us checked-in well in advance and called us immediately after booking was made.
Amenities, cleanliness and breakfast were top quality with a very good price in this cottage in a remote area of Ruscany surrounding by olive trees and roosters ... we loved every bit of our stay and will come again soon
Perfect to stay if you are traveling by car in this region.
The staff was easy to talk to and helpful.
What could be improved: Nothing.
