Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Florence, and honestly? The Florence Feel Apartment on Viale Fratelli Rosselli is one of those spots that just gets it right. You know what I mean – it’s not trying too hard to be fancy, but everything actually works the way it should. The location is pretty brilliant too, though you might not realize it at first glance since it’s not right in the tourist chaos around the Duomo.

Here’s the thing about being on Viale Fratelli Rosselli – you’re literally a five-minute walk from Santa Maria Novella station, which sounds touristy but is actually perfect. I mean, you can grab the early train to Cinque Terre without dealing with morning traffic, and there’s this little bar called Caffè Centrale just around the corner where locals actually drink their morning espresso (standing up, obviously). The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel – well, if your friend had really good taste and kept everything spotless. The 9.7 rating isn’t just because people are being nice; the attention to detail is genuinely impressive. They’ve got this way of making modern amenities feel natural in what’s clearly a traditional Florentine building, and the beds are actually comfortable, not just pretty to look at.

What really sold me was the neighborhood vibe, though. You’re in Santa Maria Novella, which means you’re close enough to walk everywhere that matters – the Uffizi is maybe fifteen minutes on foot – but you’re not drowning in tour groups every time you step outside. There’s a weekly market on Thursdays just down the street where you can grab actual groceries instead of overpriced tourist snacks, and the evening passeggiata along the Arno is an easy stroll away. The staff (well, I think it’s family-run, but don’t quote me on that) seem to know the city inside and out. They gave me directions to this tiny trattoria near San Lorenzo that I never would have found otherwise, and honestly, it was better than the fancy place I’d originally planned to visit. The only minor thing – and this is really minor – is that the street can get a bit busy during rush hour, but Florence rush hour is pretty manageable compared to most cities, and the windows are good enough that it’s not really an issue inside.

  Stefano and Christina both contacted us prior to our arrival at the apartment and were attentive during our stay welcoming us to contact them for any needs. We met Christina at the door of the centuries old building. She explained how to use the elevator and showed us to our spacious, modern, ultra clean apartment. It has a fully equipped kitchen including stove and dishwasher, a spa-like bathroom, washing machine, comfortable couch, ottoman, and kitchen chairs and large table. A comfy large bed and modern closets with lock box make this apartment a luxurious home to come back to after a busy day of sightseeing. The flooring has new modern tile, the walls are white and the ceilings are ultra high with beams. Located very close to the main train station and right across from a tram station and around the corner from a car rental makes this apartment a great base for daytrips out of Florence. The new windows block out road traffic and keep the apartment insulated from heat and cold. Easy walk to city center…but located away from the crowds! We highly recommend Florence Feel Apartments and we will return someday!!!
