The Santissima Annunziata area has this lived-in quality where you’ll see the same shopkeepers every morning and actually feel like you’re experiencing Florence, not just checking it off a list. Plus, and this matters more than people think, you can actually find decent parking nearby if you’re driving, and the hosts know all the tricks about where to leave your car without getting a ticket.
