Baciano Azienda Agrituristico Venatoria
Capolona, ItalyFirst Impressions
When you first pull up to Baciano Azienda Agrituristico Venatoria, you’ll immediately understand why couples rate this place so highly — it’s the kind of spot that feels like a well-kept secret tucked into the Tuscan countryside. The agriturismo sits in Località Stefanucci, about ten minutes from Capolona proper, surrounded by rolling hills and working farmland that stretches as far as you can see. There’s something genuinely peaceful about the approach, especially when you realize you can park right on-site without worrying about finding a spot or paying extra fees.
The Setting
What strikes you most about this place is how authentically rural it feels without being isolated. You’re still close enough to Arezzo (maybe 20 minutes by car) to explore the bigger towns, but far enough out that you actually hear birds instead of traffic in the morning. The property itself has that working-farm atmosphere — this isn’t some sanitized version of countryside living, but the real deal. I mean, you can tell this family has been doing agriturismo the right way, where guests become part of the daily rhythm rather than just observers of it.
The Experience
The rooms here have that rustic charm you hope for in a place like this, with thick stone walls and wooden beams that actually serve a purpose beyond decoration. You’ll find the accommodations comfortable without being fussy — honestly, after a day of exploring the Casentino valley or wandering through nearby medieval towns, you just want a good bed and a view of the countryside, which Baciano delivers on both counts. The hosts clearly know their stuff when it comes to making guests feel welcome, and you get the sense they genuinely enjoy sharing their corner of Tuscany with visitors.
Location Advantages
The location really is the star here — recent guests consistently rate it above 9 out of 10, and once you’re there, you understand why. You’re positioned perfectly for day trips to places like Poppi with its impressive castle, or the hermitage at Camaldoli if you’re into hiking and history. The fact that couples specifically love this spot makes sense too; there’s something inherently romantic about waking up to vineyard views and having your morning coffee while planning which hilltop town to explore next. Plus, having your own parking space might not sound exciting, but when you’re navigating narrow Tuscan roads with a rental car, it’s actually a huge relief.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back to Baciano Azienda Agrituristico Venatoria is that perfect balance between authentic farm life and genuine hospitality. You’re not staying at some corporate hotel — you’re experiencing how a Tuscan farming family actually lives and works. The 9.1 rating reflects what you’ll discover: this place delivers exactly what it promises without trying to be something it’s not. Whether you’re using it as a base for exploring the region or just want to disconnect from city life for a few days, you’ll find that the combination of location, authenticity, and straightforward comfort hits exactly the right notes.
Tuscany’s apartments welcome families with poolside pergolas, cooking classes, and day trips to Pisa’s leaning icon.

The place itself is simply magical. Whether you're looking for a romantic escape or, like us, a family getaway, you'll find everything you need and more. The amenities are thoughtful, the location is perfect, and there’s a sense of peace and privacy that’s hard to come by.
What makes this place truly special is the atmosphere it creates—one that seems to attract genuinely kind and lovely people. Even meeting the other guests felt like being part of a small, friendly neighborhood.
We haven’t felt this comfortable, cared for, or spoiled in a long time. Barbara, thank you for everything you do—it truly shows in every detail. We’ll definitely be coming back!
What could be improved: We LOVED everything!
We had everything we needed in our accommodation and if we missed something, Barbara provided it right away. Their motto is to make the guests feel at home and so it was.
After a weekend with my friends where i didn't get much sleep it was needed to retreat for a little bit and this place was what i needed.
My appartement/tiny house was quite spacious and the kitchen had all the inventory that i needed.
The pool was amazing aswell.
The instructions an contact with the host top notch.
What could be improved: The bed was a sleepingcouch. But to be honest i slept really well.
You're able to get there with public transport but it's way more convenient to do it by car.
A big thank you to our host, Barbara, who took excellent care of us.
What could be improved: The nearby towns of Subbiano and Capolona may not be particularly special, but we did manage to find some decent places to eat there.
What could be improved: Everything was perfect, just good to know that the nearest bakery/restaurant is 2-3 km away.
What could be improved: nothing
