Agri Apartment La Terrazza La Ripadoro
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Agri Apartment La Terrazza La Ripadoro, honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this four-star property tucked away on Via Generale Falugi. But you know what? Sometimes the best discoveries happen in places you’d never think to look. This apartment-style accommodation sits in the heart of Chianni, and there’s something genuinely charming about how it blends rustic Tuscan character with modern comfort. The building itself has that weathered stone look that screams authentic Italy — not the polished tourist version, but the real deal.
Location and Setting
Chianni isn’t exactly a household name, and that’s actually part of its appeal. You’re about 40 minutes from Pisa if you need your dose of famous landmarks, but honestly, staying here feels like you’ve stumbled into a corner of Tuscany that most tourists completely miss. The locals still wave when you walk by, and there’s this little alimentari down the street where the owner will chat your ear off about the best local wines. I mean, couples are rating the location 8.9 out of 10 for good reason — it’s got that perfect balance of peaceful countryside vibes without being completely isolated.
The Accommodation
The room setup here is pretty clever, actually. You get way more space than your typical hotel arrangement, with a proper living area that doesn’t feel cramped or awkward. The terrazza (terrace) that gives the place its name? Yeah, it’s worth the hype. I spent most evenings out there with a glass of Chianti, watching the sun set over the rolling hills — sounds cliché, but it really doesn’t get old. The furnishings strike that sweet spot between rustic charm and actual functionality, though don’t expect ultra-modern everything.
Practical Perks
Here’s where this place really wins you over with the details. Free parking right on site — and trust me, after driving those winding Tuscan roads, you’ll appreciate not having to hunt for a spot. The breakfast situation is surprisingly solid too, with continental options plus they actually accommodate gluten-free needs without making you feel like a burden. You can even grab breakfast to go if you’re planning an early morning adventure. The spa facilities aren’t massive, but they’re perfectly adequate for unwinding after a day of exploring.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t the kind of place that’s going to wow you with flashy amenities or over-the-top service. What it does do is give you an authentic slice of Tuscan life without the tourist markup or pretension. Recent guests are rating it 9.3 for location, and I get it — you’re close enough to day-trip anywhere you want, but far enough from the crowds that you can actually relax. The staff treats you like a neighbor rather than just another booking, and there’s something refreshing about that approach. If you’re looking for a genuine Italian experience rather than a postcard-perfect hotel, this place delivers.
Tuscany’s hotels pair barrel-aging cellars, fresco breakfasts, and concierge-led Siena cathedral climbs.

Guest Reviews
Apartment: bigger than the pictures showed. Terrace and jacuzzi are great. Air conditioning works well. Bathrooms in both floors. Rooms are spacious. Full kitchen is nice addition eventhough for two days we did not need it that much.
What we also really liked was the restaurant La Ripadoro closeby, just 1 minute walk away. Breakfast was there as well, very enjoyable. The restaurant staff was very nice.
- Accommodation was spacious, comfortable and clean
- great view, nice village
- Breakfast was great
The view is astonishing and the apartment is spacious and comfortable.
The host, Anna, is always available to answer any questions you might have.
The apartment is quiet and located far from everything else - exactly what we needed for a couple of days. Walking around to visit olive oil productions was very nice (but be advised that the roads aren’t flat, being comfortable shoes).
We will definitely book this apartment again in the future.
