It’s one of those places where you feel like you’ve discovered something special, even though it’s only about 10 minutes from Siena’s historic center. The building itself has this wonderful weathered stone facade that looks like it’s been there forever (which it probably has), and when you pull up, there’s this immediate sense of calm that hits you. The parking situation is pretty straightforward too, which – let’s be real – is a huge relief when you’re navigating Italian streets with a rental car.

The moment you step inside, you get why this place has a 9.4 rating. I mean, it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top, but everything just feels… right. The rooms have these beautiful terracotta floors and wooden beams overhead, and the beds are honestly some of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. What really struck me was the attention to details – like the way they’ve restored the original features without making it feel like a museum. The bathrooms are modern but don’t clash with the historic character, and the windows… well, some of them look out over the Tuscan countryside, which is exactly what you’re hoping for when you book a place like this. The staff genuinely seems to care about your experience too – they’re not just going through the motions, they actually remember your name and ask about your day.

Here’s the thing about the location that you might not realize from just looking at a map: you’re close enough to walk into Siena when you want to explore (though it’s uphill coming back, fair warning), but far enough out that you escape the tourist crowds and actually hear cicadas at night instead of scooters. I loved starting my mornings on their terrace with coffee, watching the mist lift off the hills – it’s the kind of moment that makes you understand why people fall in love with Tuscany. The breakfast spread is solid too, with local pastries and really good coffee, not the watery stuff you sometimes get at hotels. If you’re planning to visit during summer, book early because places like this fill up fast, and honestly, I can see why.   very nice and cozy appartement. there is a private washing machine with a drying rack. Good parking. In the bathroom there is a bathtub and shower. All the appliances you need in the kitchen . A couple of minutes from a supermarket. And, the owner is very nice and helpful. Have fun🌸

  Booked on short notice, nothing was a problem. Hosts were outstanding, friendly and helpful. They gave us great information about local attractions, food and beverage options, directions to supermarkets etc.
  The room was very comfortable and the villa (circa 1700) was authentically Tuscan.

  This villa is spacious with a lovely garden perfect for relaxing and enjoying a drink. It has 3 bathrooms and 2 large rooms. We really appreciated the villa’s authentic charm. It’s a short distance from Siena’s old town, and we used the convenient bus stop right next to the villa. The hospitality was welcoming, and there’s ample parking if you come by car. We highly recommend this villa for families, as it’s large and very comfortable.

  The hosts were amazing and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay. As it was our first time in the city we had many questions and ran into some travel issues- both of which they happily helped with. We are so grateful for them! They gave us so many recommendations as well. We were nervous about being just outside of the city (as we did not have a car) but the bus stops at their location throughout the day to bring you to the city. The apartment was beautiful, well furnished, comfortable, clean, and big. One night we had to stay in due to rain and were able to walk to the grocery store (10 mins) to make dinner at the apartment. We loved using the terrace/patio spaces to relax as well. Truly was such a special place to stay and enjoy Siena from.
