I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to SeaGarden Apartment on Via Lloyd Liewlyn, I wasn’t expecting much. I mean, you’re basically in a residential neighborhood in Livorno, which isn’t exactly where most tourists end up. But you know what? That turned out to be exactly why this place works so well. The 4-star rating feels right – it’s not trying to be some fancy resort, but everything just… works. And that 9.6 rating? Yeah, I get it now.

The location is actually pretty clever once you figure out the lay of the land. You’re about a 10-minute walk from the port area where all the ferries come and go (super handy if you’re island-hopping to Elba or Corsica), but you’re tucked away enough that you don’t hear the harbor noise at night. Via Lloyd Liewlyn is this quiet residential street with actual Italian families living their daily lives – I’d wake up to the sound of kids heading to school and neighbors chatting from their balconies. The apartment itself has this lived-in quality that I really appreciated. The kitchen actually has proper coffee-making equipment (not just some sad instant stuff), and there’s enough space to spread out your clothes without living out of a suitcase. What struck me most was how the owners clearly know their guests aren’t just passing through – there are local restaurant menus tucked in a drawer, good quality towels that don’t feel like sandpaper, and the Wi-Fi actually reaches every corner of the place.

Honestly, this is the kind of spot that makes you feel like you’re staying in someone’s well-cared-for home rather than a generic hotel room. The building has character – those old Italian shutters that you actually want to open in the morning, decent water pressure in the shower, and enough quiet that you can hear the sea breeze rustling through the neighborhood trees. Parking was easier than I expected for this part of Italy, and the check-in process was refreshingly straightforward. I think what really sold me on SeaGarden was how it captures that authentic Livorno experience without making you sacrifice comfort. You’re not in the tourist bubble, but you’re not roughing it either. If you’re the type who wants to grab fresh bread from the local bakery in the morning and actually experience how Italians live – while still having a comfortable base to return to – this place nails that balance perfectly.

  Es sind einfach sehr aufmerksame Gasgeber. Die Ausstattung ist so detailliert und perfekt, dass man nichts suchen muss oder vermisst. An Alles ist gedacht. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Man ist sehr schnell am Strand oder auch in Einkaufzentren. Es hat uns einfach alles sehr gut gefallen.

  Хочу оставить свой отзыв об апартаментах Sea Garten Apartment. Хозяин- очень приятный и ввежливый мужчина. Ключи принес нам сразу же после нашего звонка. Все показал, рассказал. Отдельное ему спасибо)))
  Квартира превзошла наши ожидания. Чисто, уютно, чистое постельное белье, в общем в квартире было все, что нужно для проживания) Небыло кондиционера, но зато есть люстры-вентиляторы, которые очень спасали от жары.
  На кухне есть все что нужно, посуда, холодильник, электрочайник – даже посудомоечная и стиральная машинка.
  Можно еще очень много перечислять, одним словом скажу – понравилось абсолютно все!!!
  Еще раз огромное спасибо хозяину за гостеприимство)

  Apartmán je ve velmi klidné čtvrti. Vše nové, čisté a voňavé, majitel velmi příjemný a ochotný. Domluva byla velmi snadná, protože on i jeho paní ovládali angličtinu. Měli jsme k dispozici i malou zahrádku a gril. Vše fungovalo, kávovar, mikrovlnka, toustovač,… V apartmánu byl příjemný chládek, k moři se dalo dojít během chvilky, do supermarketu (COOP) to bylo pěšky trošku dále, ale autem za pár minut. Kousek za domem malá pizzerie s přijatelnými cenami a velmi ochotnou obsluhou – vřele doporučuji!
  
  What could be improved: Ubytování se nedá vytknout vůbec nic. Snad jen kvalita veřejných pláží v Livornu, ale jsou tu městské lázně i s bazénem a autem se dá popojet a vybrat si pláž podle vlastní chuti a možností.
