Rosymarty Apartment-vicino Firenze
Prato, ItalyFirst Impressions
When I first pulled up to Rosymarty Apartment-vicino Firenze on Via Pablo Picasso, I’ll be honest — I wasn’t expecting much from the street view. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that surprise you. This unassuming apartment-style accommodation sits quietly in Prato, about 20 minutes from Florence’s historic center, and it’s become one of those hidden gems that couples seem to discover and fall in love with. The fact that there’s actually free parking right on site was my first pleasant surprise — trust me, if you’ve ever tried to park anywhere near Florence, you’ll understand why this matters.
Location & Getting Around
Prato might not be on every tourist’s radar, but that’s actually part of its charm. You’re close enough to Florence that a quick train ride gets you to the Duomo and Uffizi, but far enough away that you escape the crowds and inflated prices. The neighborhood around Via Pablo Picasso is refreshingly normal — real Italian life happening around you rather than tourist theater. I mean, there are local cafes where the barista actually remembers your order, and small shops that close for proper lunch breaks. The train connections to Florence are reliable, and honestly, coming back to this quieter area each evening felt like a relief after battling the Florence crowds.
The Apartment Experience
What struck me about Rosymarty Apartment-vicino Firenze was how thoughtfully it’s set up for couples who want their own space. This isn’t your typical hotel room — you get a proper apartment feel with room to spread out and actually live a bit. The kitchen setup means you can grab fresh ingredients from local markets (there’s a great one just a few streets over) and have breakfast on your own schedule. The space feels clean and modern without being sterile, and there are those little touches that show someone actually cares about the guest experience rather than just checking boxes.
What Makes It Special
The 9.5 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen — you feel it in the details. Recent guests consistently mention the location quality, and after staying here, I get why it scores a 9.6 for location specifically. It’s that sweet spot where you’re connected but not overwhelmed. The apartment gives you independence to explore Tuscany at your own pace, whether that’s day trips to Florence, discovering Prato’s own medieval charm, or just enjoying a slower morning with coffee and planning your next move. The free parking means you could even rent a car and explore the Tuscan countryside without the headache of city parking.
Why Couples Love It
There’s something about having your own apartment space that just works for romantic getaways. You’re not dealing with hotel breakfast schedules or thin walls, and you can actually have conversations without whispering. The location feedback specifically mentions couples rating it highly, and I can see why — it’s intimate without being isolated, and practical without killing the romance. Plus, when you want to impress someone with a spontaneous trip to Florence but don’t want to blow your budget on overpriced city center accommodations, this place delivers that perfect balance of access and value.
Locals suggest to book apartments in Tuscany around Montepulciano for wine cellars, artisan cheese shops, and jazz nights.

What could be improved: The electricity supply was not stable at the time of our stay, so the air-conditioning was off the first night which was not pleasant. Not sure if this is a problem of the apartment or general supply of electricity in that area.
