I mean, you can reach Montepulciano in about fifteen minutes, and Pienza is maybe a half-hour drive through some seriously gorgeous countryside. What really impressed me was the free parking right on site — and trust me, after trying to navigate narrow medieval streets in rental cars, having a guaranteed spot feels like winning the lottery. The location gets an 8.3 rating from recent guests, and honestly, I get why couples love it here (they rated it 8.0 for romantic getaways).

The Room Experience

My room had this perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort that’s surprisingly hard to find. The exposed beams and terracotta floors gave it that authentic Tuscan feel, but the bathroom was completely updated and the air conditioning actually worked — which, let’s be real, matters when you’re exploring in July heat. What really stood out though were the beds. I sleep terribly when I travel, but whatever mattresses they’ve invested in here are seriously comfortable.
