When I first pulled up to Podere Vignanova Rooms & SPA, honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this four-star property tucked away on via Accattapane. But you know what? The location in Castagneto Carducci is pretty brilliant, actually. You’re close enough to the coast that you can smell the sea air on clear days, but far enough inland to get that authentic Tuscan countryside vibe. I mean, couples clearly get it — they rate the location super highly, and I can see why. There’s something romantic about being surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, yet knowing you can reach the beaches of the Etruscan Coast in about fifteen minutes. The parking situation is refreshingly stress-free too — having your own spot included is a small convenience that makes a big difference when you’re exploring the region.

The Room Experience

My room was one of those pleasant surprises where everything just works. The design strikes this nice balance between rustic Tuscan charm and modern comfort — think exposed beams but with excellent Wi-Fi and air conditioning that actually functions properly.
