You know what strikes you first about La Meria di Maria Casa Arancio? It’s not trying to be something it’s not. This 4-star place sits right on Via del Tombolo – and if you’ve been to Marina di Grosseto before, you’ll know that’s basically the sweet spot between the pine forests and the beach. I mean, you’re maybe a 5-minute walk from the water, but you’re not dealing with all that beachfront chaos and the inflated prices that come with it.

The whole “Casa Arancio” thing (orange house) actually makes sense when you see it – there’s this warm, citrusy color scheme that somehow doesn’t feel cheesy. Maria, who I’m guessing is the owner or maybe was at some point, clearly has a thing for details. The rooms have this lived-in elegance that’s hard to fake – think vintage Italian furniture that’s actually comfortable, not just pretty. Honestly, the beds are fantastic, which matters more than people admit when they’re reviewing places. The bathrooms are properly renovated too, with decent water pressure (you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue in older Italian properties).

What really won me over was how the staff actually knows the area. When I asked about restaurants, they didn’t just hand me a tourist brochure – they told me about this little osteria about ten minutes inland where the locals go for seafood. They also mentioned that if you’re planning to hit the Maremma beaches south of here, morning is definitely better because the afternoon winds can get pretty intense. That’s the kind of insight you want from people who live here year-round. The 9.5 rating honestly doesn’t surprise me – everything just works without being flashy about it. Parking is included (not a given in this part of Tuscany), the WiFi is solid, and they’ve got this little breakfast terrace where you can actually hear the sea through the pines on quiet mornings. It’s not luxury in the marble-and-gold sense, but it’s that specifically Italian version of comfort where everything feels intentional and welcoming at the same time.

  Duże przestronne mieszkanie, bardzo blisko plaży, bez problemu można zaparkować samochód; blisko centrum Marina di Grosseto na pieszo – idealne miejsce dla rodziny. Zdecydowanie polecam.

  L'appartamento è molto spazioso, moderno e accogliente, dotato davvero di tutto.
  Avendo un bambino con noi, l'ambiente era perfetto anche sotto questo punto di vista dato il giardino con giochi, comodo quindi per le famiglie. Posizionato a pochi passi dalla spiaggia, in un contesto tranquillo e riservato. Spazi esterni inaspettati, grande giardino e BBQ. Parcheggio

  L'appartement est situé dans une pinède à 300 mètres de la mer ( sans la vue ) dans un beau jardin. L'intérieur est très bien équipé , bien décoré et très propre. Letizia, la propriétaire est disponible et très gentille. On peut garer la voiture sans problème .
  Nous avons passé un bon séjour et nous recommandons cet établissement.

  Идеальное место для отдыха. Уютный и чистый дом с Садом и местом для барбекю. До моря 2 минуты. Магазин остановка все рядом. Шикарная местность.

  Posizione perfetta a 2 passi dal mare e 10 dal centro, zona tranquilla, ambiente molto confortevole con tutto il necessario. Parcheggio eccezionale, ampia possibilità sotto casa o davanti/dietro.

  What could be improved: Tutto ottimo, se proprio proprio bisogna fare un'osservazione c'è solo da capire all'inizio la potenza massima gestibile dal contatore elettrico, per il resto una volta capito si sta alla grande ✌🏻😍✌🏻
