You’re in Santa Maria Novella, which sounds touristy but actually strikes this perfect balance – close enough to the Duomo that you can walk there in ten minutes, but far enough that you’re not constantly swimming through crowds of tour groups. The little streets around here come alive in the early evening when Florentines head out for aperitivo, and there’s this great sense of stumbling onto the real rhythm of the city. Plus, and this is key if you’re planning day trips, the train station proximity means you can actually catch that early train to Cinque Terre without a complicated morning commute.   We could not have been happier with this property. Perfect location in the city and within easy reach of landmarks, restaurants, bars, shops and interesting streets to explore. Great little bar across the street too that was open all day long for coffee.
  The hosts have thought of everything here. From the electrical adapters, travel books, clothes drying rack, coffee machine – you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. If you have any questions your hosts are only too helpful.
  Bedrooms were quiet and nice and dark for a good nights sleep.

  A beautiful, designer space with a historical atmosphere, we really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was equipped averagely, but it was fine. Key handover went smoothly remotely. The accommodation is right in the city center, so we had trouble with parking. The parking garages nearby are expensive, but we parked in a garage on the outskirts of the city and took a tram, and everything worked out well.
